Senior Photoshoot Adventure in Columbus, Indiana
Senior year is all about celebrating milestones, dreams, and everything that makes you unique! I recently had the opportunity to photograph a beautiful senior session that highlighted some of the most iconic spots around Columbus, Indiana—and the Muscatatuck Wildlife Refuge. Each location brought its own charm and personality to the photos, creating a gallery full of variety and emotion.
Starting Downtown – The Columbus Railroad
We began the day near the historic railroad area in downtown Columbus, a local favorite for its rustic textures and timeless industrial vibe. The mix of weathered metal, wood, and old tracks created a perfect contrast against her bright smile and modern outfit. It was the perfect spot to capture a mix of confidence and nostalgia—just like senior year itself.
Modern Lines at Cummins Headquarters
Next, we headed to the Cummins architecture district, where Columbus’s world-renowned modern design shines. The sleek lines, glass reflections, and creative shapes offered a completely different look from the railroad. This stop gave us those clean, editorial-style shots that seniors love for their modern and timeless appeal. Her outfit change—simple but elegant—paired perfectly with the geometric backgrounds, the gorgeous flowers and soft natural light.
Golden Hour at Muscatatuck Wildlife Refuge
To finish off the day, we made our way to Muscatatuck Wildlife Refuge for golden hour. This spot is one of my favorites for sunset sessions! The soft glow through the trees, reflections on the water, and open fields gave her photos that dreamy, natural finish. It was the perfect way to end a full day of capturing her personality—bright, adventurous, and full of heart.
